One of my favourite trend for this spring is flared jeans. It brings back that Jane Birkin look, that I love so much. Flared jeans, shirt, bangs, fringe bags, and the crucial thing, Â high heels, with platform, unless you have the body of supermodel!

Unfortunately, my fashion style is quite “straight”, and comfortable, I would say… Black, jeans, white shirts, His sweaters,  flat shoes, military boots, and I’m done… If you ask me, i would always say, less is more, it’s just golden rule for me… Unless… Unless, there is Ethno inspired style!!! I just love it, all the way… the richness of fabrics, colours, layers, stories that lay behind the inspiration… The last few years, many designers has been inspired by this trend and brought to us beautiful creations  inspired by African tribes, Mongolian Warriors, American Natives (Indians) and Cowboys, Chinese traditional costumes, Bollywood…

British Vogue said that Julia Roberts, never looked better. Couldn’t agree more ,unless we count the outfit with red dress that Richard Gere gave to her in a movie Pretty Women, when he took her to the Opera, or to be honest, she looked amazing in that  movie from first to the last scene, hat down to the costume designer of that movie, Marilyn Vance. But let’s get back to today’s  Julia, 20+ years after. What is the reason that the most reputable fashion magazine of the world, makes statement like that, for a women who’s been walking down the red carpet for the last 25 years? SUIT. It’s simple as that. Julia Roberts in a new Givenchy campaign, wearing a suit. A women in a suit is a women with a statement. And a women with the statement is the most sexiest thing in the world! Who are the women with statement? From Marlene Dietrich, Greta Garbo, Diane Keaton (who brought a suit to the whole new level) to Kate Moss and Linda Evangelista, Patti Smith on the legendary cover of the album Horses, Victoria Beckham to Solange Knowles  Caroline de Maigret to Cate Blanchet….
